Killer Tips to Create Clipping Masks in Photoshop

A clipping mask may be a group of layers to which a mask is applied. Rock bottom layer, or base layer, defines the visible boundaries of the whole group. For instance, if you’ve got a shape within the base layer, a photograph within the layer above it, and text within the topmost layerIf the image and text appear only through the form outline within the base layer, they also combat the bottom layer’s opacity.

You can group only successive layers. The name of the bottom layer within the group is underlined, and so the thumbnails for the overlying layers are indented. Additionally, the overlying layers display the clipping path icon.
